My area of interest includes programming general purpose and special purpose microprocessors,  GNU/Linux (openSuSE), UNIX scripting tools, Core Java, Data Structures and Algorithms (I enjoy the implementation part). I possess a good understanding of  Java and a reasonable understanding of the rest.  In the long term, I’d be interested in gaining in depth knowledge in the field of Digital Signal Processing, Embedded Systems, Android OS, Automation and Robotics.

Apart from these, I’m a hardcore biker/tourer, who loves riding his Royal Enfield Electra 350cc all day. I also enjoy learning languages and I’ve completed level  C1 in German language and I’m hoping to go to Germany sometime in the future for my higher studies. (Updated: I’m already in Germany living my dream now!).  Bird Photography is my favorite pastime and I also enjoy practicing yoga in order to discipline my body and mind.  In my other blog, I upload my favorite photographs regularly along with an anecdote written in German ( I do this just to improve my German language competence). However, I admit that I’m just an amateur photographer with an amateur camera. So don’t expect any professional touch in my photographs (at least for now).

I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Madras Institute of Technology, Chennai and I’m hoping to do my masters and Ph.D in the field of Embedded Systems, Signal Processing or Automation and Robotics  in Germany before my hair turns gray.

  1. I don;t understand why do you ask people to login and did not give them a way to register or by some other way to get the password.

    • I don’t get you. What password do you need? All my posts can be read without a password. Are you talking about the password to the Java implementation of the Johnson-Trotter permutation algorithm? That’s my private post and I’m not giving that password to anybody as I don’t want my code copied elsewhere.

  2. I’m envious that you’re living in Germany; I was there one year long ago and remember it fondly. Are you studying for your PhD, and if so, where?

    • I decided to end my studies with my masters and I’m going back to India in a week as I got a great job there. Nevertheless, I too have many pleasant memories during my stay here. I lived in Freiburg im Breisgau, a “green” city, 40 minutes away from the Swiss city of Basel.
